Farmers Insurance Integrated Rebrand/Campaign

Any insurance company can put a bullet point on a pitch brief about their “highly trained agents,” but very few of them offer a warehouse-sized training space where recruits can invert a Hyundai that’s welded to a steel spit just to see where the catalytic converter goes. After years of their advertising being attributed to their biggest similarly farm-named competitor, Farmers put out an RFP for an agency to help them stop helping their competition. So we took their uniquely hands-on approach to insurance education and helped turn it a platform that’s still on the air 13 years later.

Back when microsites were a thing, we made this one to bring the size and scope of the University of Farmers to life on the web. With so much content to write, it ended up being a really important exercise in terms of figuring out the tone and style of JK’s Simmons’ character that would inform work for years to come.

Online – The Farmers 5 “Start your Engines” Sweepstakes

After spending lots of money to put their logo on a race car, Farmers wanted to let people know they’d gone and done it. So they started a Facebook page where people could win stuff and see fun content with their very camera shy driver, Kasey Kane. This, of course, was all back in the golden years before Facebook was taken over by our parents.
